The Intermatic NE1C Screw-In Photo Control is designed to automate the operation of incandescent lighting fixtures. It detects ambient light levels to automatically turn lights ON at dusk and OFF at dawn, providing convenience and energy savings.

Important: This device is designed exclusively for use with incandescent light bulbs. It is not compatible with CFL (Compact Fluorescent Lamp) or LED (Light Emitting Diode) light bulbs.

  1. Выключыць харчаванне: Before beginning installation, ensure the power to the light fixture is turned OFF at the circuit breaker or fuse box.
  2. Выдаліць існуючую лямпачку: Carefully remove the existing incandescent light bulb from the fixture.
  3. Install Photo Control: Screw the Intermatic NE1C Photo Control into the standard incandescent light socket until it is snug. Do not overtighten.
  4. Усталюйце лямпачку: Screw an incandescent light bulb (maximum 150 Watts) into the socket of the photo control.

Once installed and powered, the Intermatic NE1C Photo Control operates automatically:

  • Dusk Activation: When ambient light levels fall between 1 to 5 Foot-Candles (FC), the photo control will activate, turning the connected incandescent light bulb ON.
  • Dawn Deactivation: When ambient light levels rise between 3 to 15 Foot-Candles (FC), the photo control will deactivate, turning the connected incandescent light bulb OFF.

There are no user-adjustable settings for light sensitivity on this model. Proper positioning of the photocell sensor is crucial for optimal performance.
