The sweeper features an easy-to-use brush height adjustment that requires no tools. To optimize sweeping performance, set the brushes to penetrate the grass to a depth of approximately ½ inch (13mm) from the top of the grass. Setting the brushes too low can hinder proper function.

The Agri-Fab 45-0218 is designed for smaller residential yards and light clean-up tasks. Its 26-inch sweeping width allows for efficient debris collection.
Preparation for Sweeping
- For optimal performance and to maximize the 6.2 cu. ft. hopper capacity, it is recommended to mow your lawn before sweeping. This mulches leaf debris, making it easier to collect.
- Ensure the brush height is correctly adjusted for your lawn conditions.
Sweeping Procedure
- Push the sweeper across the area to be cleaned. The rotating brushes will collect leaves, grass clippings, and other light debris into the hopper bag.
- For heavily compacted debris, multiple passes may be necessary.

Emptying the Hopper Bag
The hopper bag is designed for easy detachment, allowing for quick dumping of collected debris. Simply unhook the bag from the sweeper frame and empty its contents into a compost pile or waste bin.
