1. Attach Scoop Holder: Securely attach the scoop holder to the side of the Litter Genie Plus Pail unit.
2. Insert Scoop: Place the provided litter scoop into the attached holder.
3. Prepare Refill:
   • Remove the plastic tab and outer rim from the refill cartridge.
   • Pull out approximately one foot of the multi-layer film from the refill.
   • Tie a knot at the end of the pulled-out film to create the bottom of the bag. Ensure the knot is tight to prevent leaks.
4. Уставіць запраўку: Open the lid of the Litter Genie Plus Pail. Sit the prepared refill cartridge on top of the unit, ensuring it is properly seated. Push the film through the pail's opening.

3. Lock Odors: Pull the handle located on the front of the unit. This action drops the waste into the sealed compartment below and closes the internal mechanism, effectively locking away odors. Release the handle to return it to its closed position.

The Litter Genie Plus Pail is designed to hold up to 14 days of soiled litter for one cat, minimizing the need for frequent emptying. The included refill bags feature a multi-layer film and the pail has a built-in antimicrobial to inhibit bacterial growth and seal in odors.

Changing the Refill Bag:

1. Open Unit: Press the button on the middle front of the pail to open the top half of the unit.
2. Cut Bag: Locate the built-in cutter just above the hinge in the back. Pull the filled bag upwards, ensuring enough film is available to tie a knot. Use the cutter to sever the bag.
3. Tie and Dispose: Tie a tight knot at the top of the severed bag and lift it out for disposal.
