Follow these steps to install the Cisa Astral S Euro Cylinder:
- Падрыхтуйце дзверы: Ensure the existing lock case is clear and free of debris. If replacing an old cylinder, remove it by unscrewing the retaining screw located on the door edge, usually below the latch or bolt.
- Measure the Cylinder: The Cisa Astral S Euro Cylinder has a length of 79mm (40-40 NP, meaning 40mm from the center of the cam to one end, and 40mm to the other, with a 1mm cam). Verify this matches your door's requirements.
- Устаўце ключ: Insert one of the supplied keys into the cylinder and turn it slightly (approximately 15-20 degrees) to align the cam with the cylinder body. This allows the cam to retract into the cylinder, enabling insertion into the lock case.
- Insert the Cylinder: Slide the cylinder into the lock case from the side of the door where the retaining screw was removed. Ensure it sits flush with the door handles or escutcheons on both sides.
- Secure the Cylinder: Insert the fixing screw through the screw hole on the door edge and tighten it into the threaded hole in the center of the cylinder. Do not overtighten, as this can damage the cylinder or lock case.
