1. To charge the battery, insert it into the compatible charger. The charger's indicator lights will show the charging status.

4.1 Starting the Snow Blower

1. Ensure the battery is fully inserted and secured.
2. Press the safety button and then squeeze the lever on the handle to start the snow blower.

4.2 Clearing Snow and Chute Control

The ION18SB-PRO is capable of clearing a path 18 inches wide and 8 inches deep, moving up to 495 lbs of snow per minute. The 180° auto-rotate chute allows you to direct snow up to 20 feet away.

1. Push the snow blower at a consistent pace, allowing the auger to efficiently clear the snow.
2. Use the joystick control on the handle to adjust the direction of the snow discharge chute as needed.

4.3 Nighttime Operation

For snow removal in low-light conditions or at night, activate the integrated LED headlight.

• Wet, heavy snow can reduce the throwing distance. Try clearing smaller sections at a slower, more consistent pace.
• Check the discharge chute for any blockages or ice buildup. Clear any obstructions carefully with a non-metallic tool.

6.3 Chute Not Rotating

• If wet snow freezes in the chute base, it can prevent rotation. Thaw the area carefully before attempting to rotate the chute.
• Ensure the joystick control for chute rotation is not obstructed and is functioning properly.
