The Superior Pump 92010 Vertical Float Switch is designed to automatically control the operation of sump and utility pumps. Its universal design ensures compatibility with a wide range of pumps, providing reliable on/off functionality based on water levels. This non-mercury activated switch comes with a durable 10-foot water-resistant power cord and a piggyback plug for easy installation.

Proper installation is crucial for the reliable operation of your float switch. Follow these steps carefully:

2. Insert Float Rod: Fully insert the float rod into the switch housing. The float rod has a notch that must face towards the side where the pin is inserted. Secure the float rod by inserting the provided pin through the designated hole.
3. Slide Float Ball: Slide the float ball onto the float rod. The position of the float ball on the rod determines the pumping range (the difference between the 'on' and 'off' levels). Adjust this based on your specific application needs.

The Superior Pump 92010 Vertical Float Switch operates by sensing the water level in your sump pit. As the water level rises, the float ball will lift the float rod, which activates the internal switch, turning the pump on. As the water level drops, the float ball will lower, deactivating the switch and turning the pump off.
