3. Setup and Initial Unlock

Before using your datAshur PRO, you must unlock it using your personal identification number (PIN).

3. Once prompted that it is safe to remove, disconnect the drive. The drive will automatically lock, and your data will be securely encrypted.

If the administrator PIN is entered incorrectly 10 consecutive times, the PIN, encryption key, and all data on the drive will be permanently lost. The device will revert to factory default settings and will require reformatting before further use. It is crucial to remember your PINs and consider backing up critical data.
