4.2. Connecting to the Tonearm

2. Gently hold the headshell by its body, avoiding contact with the stylus.
3. Align the four pins on the rear of the headshell with the corresponding receptacles on your turntable's tonearm.
4. Carefully push the headshell into the tonearm socket until it is firmly seated. Some tonearms may have a locking collar; twist this collar clockwise to secure the headshell.

4.3. Cartridge Alignment and Tracking Force

For optimal sound and to prevent record wear, proper cartridge alignment and tracking force adjustment are essential. These steps are general; refer to your turntable's specific instructions for precise adjustments.
