  • Installation and electrical wiring must be performed by a qualified electrician and comply with all local and national electrical codes.
  • Ensure the pump is properly grounded.
  • Never run the pump dry. Ensure the pump is fully primed with water before starting.
  • Do not block the suction inlet. Blocked suction can cause severe injury or death.

  • Pre-filter Basket: Located at the front of the pump, accessible via a transparent lid. Collects large debris to prevent damage to the pump.
Houses the impeller and volute, responsible for water movement.
Powers the impeller. Features a terminal box for electrical connections.
  • Inlet and Outlet Ports: Connections for plumbing from the pool and to the filter system.
Located at the bottom of the pump for draining water during maintenance or winterization.

  • Install the pump as close to the pool as possible to minimize friction loss in the suction line.
  • Ensure the location is well-ventilated, dry, and protected from direct sunlight and extreme weather.
  • Provide adequate space around the pump for maintenance and air circulation.

  • Use appropriate PVC piping and fittings for pool applications.
  • Ensure all connections are watertight to prevent air leaks, especially on the suction side.
  • Install isolation valves on both the suction and discharge sides of the pump for easy maintenance.

IMPORTANT: All electrical work must be performed by a licensed electrician.

  • Пераканайцеся, што блок харчавання voltage matches the pump's requirements (230V AC, single phase).
  • Connect the pump to a dedicated circuit protected by a Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter (GFCI) or Residual Current Device (RCD).
  • Ensure proper grounding of the pump motor.
  • Refer to the wiring diagram inside the motor's terminal box for specific connections.

Before starting the pump for the first time, or after draining for maintenance, it must be primed:

  1. Ensure all valves are open to allow water flow to the pump.
  2. Remove the transparent lid of the pre-filter basket.
  3. Fill the pre-filter basket and the suction line with water until the water level is above the pump's inlet.
  5. Turn on the power to the pump. The pump should start to draw water and expel air from the discharge line.
  6. If the pump does not prime within 2-3 minutes, turn it off, re-check for air leaks, and repeat the priming process.

  • Once primed, the pump will operate continuously as long as power is supplied.
  • Monitor the pressure gauge on your filter (if applicable) to ensure proper filtration.
  • Listen for unusual noises, which may indicate a problem.

To turn off the pump, simply switch off the power at the circuit breaker or dedicated switch.

Regular maintenance will extend the life of your Kripsol pump and ensure optimal performance.

6.1 Pre-filter Basket Cleaning

The pre-filter basket should be inspected and cleaned regularly, depending on the amount of debris in your pool.

  2. Close the isolation valves on the suction and discharge lines to prevent water flow.
  3. Unscrew the transparent lid of the pre-filter basket.
  6. Inspect the O-ring on the lid for cracks or damage. Replace if necessary.
  7. Reinsert the basket, ensure the O-ring is properly seated, and screw the lid back on tightly.
  8. Open the isolation valves and re-prime the pump if necessary before restarting.

  2. Drain all water from the pump by removing the drain plug(s) and the pre-filter lid.
  3. Store the drain plugs and lid in the pre-filter basket for safekeeping.
  4. If possible, remove the pump and store it in a dry, heated area.
  5. If the pump cannot be removed, ensure all water is drained and cover it with a protective tarp.
