5.1 Donning the Mask

5.2 Preventing Fogging

To prevent fogging during use:

• Gently rub the solution or saliva over the lens surface.
• Rinse briefly with water to leave a thin film.

5.3 Clearing Water from the Mask

If water enters the mask underwater:

1. Press the top of the mask frame firmly against your forehead.
2. Exhale slowly and forcefully through your nose. The exhaled air will push the water out from the bottom of the mask skirt.
3. Continue exhaling until all water is expelled.

5.4 Equalizing Ear Pressure

As you descend, pressure increases. To equalize:

1. Pinch your nose through the mask's nose pocket.
2. Gently blow through your nose (Valsalva maneuver) until you feel your ears pop.
3. Equalize frequently and before you feel discomfort.
