4. Настройка і ўстаноўка

4.1 Фізічная ўстаноўка

The KT-8900D is designed for mobile use. Choose a mounting location that is secure, allows for proper ventilation, and does not obstruct driving or airbag deployment. Use the provided mounting bracket and hardware.

4.2 Падключэнне харчавання

Connect the DC power cable to the radio's power input port. The red wire is positive (+), and the black wire is negative (-). Connect the other end to your vehicle's 13.8V DC power source, preferably directly to the battery or a fused accessory circuit capable of supplying sufficient current (up to 4 amps on high power transmit).

• The included power cable has a cigarette lighter plug for convenience. For permanent installations, consider wiring directly to the battery with an inline fuse.

4.3 Падключэнне антэны

Connect a suitable VHF/UHF dual-band antenna to the SO-239 connector on the rear of the radio. Ensure the connection is tight and secure. Never transmit without an antenna connected.
