To switch between autofocus (AF) and manual focus (MF), use the AF/MF switch located on the side of the lens barrel. For precise manual focusing, ensure the camera is also set to manual focus mode.

Image Stabilization (IS) Modes

The lens is equipped with a 3-mode optical image stabilization system. Use the 'STABILIZER ON/OFF' switch to activate or deactivate the image stabilization. The 'STABILIZER MODE' switch allows you to select from three modes:

• Mode 1 (Standard): Corrects vibrations in all directions. Suitable for stationary subjects.
• Mode 2 (Panning): Corrects vertical vibrations only. Ideal for panning shots where you follow a moving subject horizontally.
• Mode 3 (During Exposure Only): Corrects vibrations only at the moment of exposure. Useful for unpredictable subjects, as it provides a stable viewfinder image only when the shutter button is pressed halfway.
