The wiiyii Car HUD P8 offers flexible installation options to suit your vehicle's interior and your preference. It can be installed on the A-pillar trim or placed directly on the dashboard.

The HUD P8 operates in two primary modes: OBD and GPS. The default mode is OBD2. Upon power-on, you can select your preferred language and system. After 5 seconds of inactivity, it will automatically enter the last selected system.

To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your wiiyii Car HUD P8, please observe the following maintenance guideline:

• Disconnect for Extended Periods: If you do not plan to drive your vehicle for more than a week, it is recommended to disconnect the OBD device. This is because the OBD device draws a regular current from the car battery, and disconnecting it prevents potential battery drain, especially in vehicles with varying battery conditions.

5.1 OBD System Incompatibility

The HUD P8 is primarily designed for cars with OBD2 and EU-OBD agreements (European region: after 2003; Other regions: after 2007). It is not compatible with JOBD and OBDI protocols, nor with certain car types such as hybrid electric vehicles, diesel cars, pickup trucks, RVs, or computer-modified cars. Incompatible car brands include Renault, Peugeot, Citroen, Fiat, DS, Lamborghini, Jeep, SIMCA, and Suzuki.
