4. Настройка

4.1 Фізічная ўстаноўка

The camera is designed for ceiling mount installation. Choose a location that provides the desired field of view and is within reach of your network cable.

  1. Mark the drilling points on the ceiling using the camera bracket as a template.
  2. Drill holes and insert the provided screws to secure the camera bracket.

This camera primarily uses Power over Ethernet (PoE) for both power and data transmission. It requires connection to an 802.3af Standard 48V PoE switch.

  • Connect an Ethernet cable from your 802.3af PoE switch to the camera's RJ-45 port.
  • Alternatively, if a PoE switch is not available, the camera can be powered by a conventional 12V 2A DC power supply (not included) using the auxiliary power connector. In this case, a standard Ethernet connection to a router or switch is still required for data.

The camera's IP address is set to Dynamic (DHCP) by default. For initial setup and access, you may need to use a network scanning tool to discover the camera's assigned IP address on your network. The ONVIF port is 6688.

  • Ensure your computer is on the same local network as the camera.
  • Use a network IP scanner tool to find the camera's IP address.

The camera supports P2P remote viewing, allowing you to access live footage and playback from anywhere using the NVSEE Int 'I smartphone app or CMS software.

  1. Open the NVSEE Int 'I app on your smartphone or the CMS software on your PC.
  2. Add the camera to the application by scanning its QR code or manually entering its device ID.

5.2 Начное бачанне

The camera is equipped with 18pcs 940nm invisible IR LEDs, providing clear night vision up to 5-10 meters. These LEDs are invisible to the naked eye, ensuring discreet operation.

  • When ambient light levels drop below a certain threshold, the camera automatically switches from color to black and white mode and activates the IR LEDs.
  • The 940nm wavelength ensures that the LED light does not emit a visible red glow, maintaining the camera's covert nature.

5.3 Motion Detection and Email Alarm

Configure motion detection settings through the camera's web interface or the CMS software. You can set detection zones, sensitivity levels, and enable email notifications for triggered events.

The camera supports H.265 and H.264 compression formats. H.265 offers more efficient video storage and bandwidth usage compared to H.264, providing the same quality image with approximately half the bandwidth and storage requirements.

  • By default, the camera is set to 3MP resolution and H.265 encoding.
  • If your Network Video Recorder (NVR) does not support 3MP or H.265, you can adjust the camera settings to 1080P (2MP) and H.264 via the camera's web інтэрфейс.
