Carefully remove the watch from its packaging. Inspect the watch for any visible damage. Retain the packaging for future reference or storage.

1. To set the time: Pull the crown (the small knob on the side of the watch) out to the outermost position. Rotate the crown to move the hands clockwise or counter-clockwise until the desired time is displayed. Push the crown back in to start the watch.
2. To set the date: Pull the crown out to the middle position. Rotate the crown to adjust the date. If the date changes during the day, advance the time by 12 hours. Push the crown back in to secure the date.
