Your GIVI X27 helmet is designed to provide protection during motorcycle riding. Adherence to safety guidelines is crucial.

4. Настройка
4.1 Initial Fit Adjustment
- Place the helmet on your head, ensuring it sits level and comfortably.
- Fasten the chin strap. Pull the strap until it is snug under your chin, but not uncomfortably tight.
- Attempt to move the helmet from side to side and up and down. There should be minimal movement, and your skin should move with the helmet.
4.2 Visor Installation/Removal (if applicable)
The main visor can be removed for cleaning or replacement. Consult the quick-release mechanism on each side of the visor. Typically, a lever or button needs to be pressed while rotating the visor upwards to detach it. Reinstallation involves aligning the visor pivots with the helmet's mechanism and pressing firmly until it clicks into place.

5.1 Opening and Closing the Chin Bar
To open the chin bar, locate the release button or lever, usually positioned at the center front or side of the chin bar. Press the button and lift the chin bar upwards until it locks into its open position. To close, press the release button again (if required) and pull the chin bar down firmly until it latches securely into the closed position. Ensure it is fully locked before riding.
5.2 Main Visor Operation
The main visor can be opened and closed by lifting or lowering it from the tab located at the bottom edge. It features multiple detent positions to allow for varying levels of airflow.
5.3 Internal Sun Visor Operation
The internal sun visor is operated by a slider mechanism, typically located on the left side of the helmet shell. Slide the lever forward to deploy the sun visor and backward to retract it. Use the sun visor only in bright conditions and retract it in low light or at night.

The helmet is equipped with adjustable vents for airflow. Front vents (chin and top) can be opened or closed by sliding their respective covers. Rear exhaust vents are typically passive or also adjustable to allow hot air to escape.

Remove the main visor and internal sun visor. Wash them with lukewarm water and a soft cloth. For stubborn dirt, use a specialized helmet visor cleaner. Allow to air dry completely before reinstallation. Do not use paper towels or abrasive materials, which can scratch the visor surface.
6.3 Cleaning the Interior Padding
The interior padding is typically removable. Detach the cheek pads and liner. Hand wash them in cold water with mild soap. Rinse thoroughly and allow to air dry completely before reinserting them into the helmet. Ensure all components are dry to prevent mildew.
