  • Ensure the mounting surface is clean, dry, and structurally sound before installation.
  • VHB Adhesive Warning: VHB adhesive is not suitable for moist walls or uneven planes. For these surfaces, screw installation is strongly recommended to ensure secure mounting.
  • When using screws, ensure appropriate wall plugs are used for the wall material to prevent damage or instability.
  • Keep small parts (screws, nuts) out of reach of children to prevent choking hazards.

5. Ўстаноўка

The UYODM mount offers two primary installation methods: adhesive or screw-based. Choose the method best suited for your mounting surface.

5.1. Adhesive Installation

  1. Падрыхтуйце паверхню: Clean the desired mounting surface thoroughly. Ensure it is smooth, dry, and free of dust or grease. Suitable surfaces include smooth glass, tiles, metal, and marble.
  2. Нанесці клей: Peel off the protective film from the VHB adhesive pads on the back of the bracket.
  3. Кранштэйны пазіцыі: Firmly press the bracket onto the cleaned surface in the desired location.
  4. Час отвержденія: Allow the adhesive to cure for at least 24 гадзіны before attaching the camera. This ensures maximum adhesion strength.

  1. Марк Хоулз: Hold the bracket against the wall at the desired mounting location and mark the positions for the screw holes.
  2. Прасвідраваць пілотныя адтуліны: Drill pilot holes at the marked positions. For drywall or masonry, insert the provided wall plugs into the pilot holes.
  3. Бяспечны кранштэйн: Align the bracket with the pilot holes and secure it using the provided wall screws. Tighten until the bracket is firmly attached to the wall.

5.3. Attaching the Camera to the Bracket

  1. Prepare Camera Base: The Google Nest Cam (Battery) has a magnetic base. The UYODM bracket is designed to work with this.
  2. Бяспечная камера: Align the magnetic base of your Google Nest Cam with the circular plate on the UYODM bracket. The camera will magnetically attach to the bracket.
  3. Final Tightening (Optional): For added security, use the provided 1/4 screws to further secure the camera to the bracket, if applicable to your camera model's base.

Once the camera is attached to the bracket, you can easily adjust its angle to achieve the desired monitoring view. The L-shaped design allows for flexible positioning.

  • Bracket not holding (Adhesive): Ensure the surface was clean, dry, and smooth. Allow the full 24-hour curing time before attaching the camera. If the surface is moist or uneven, switch to screw installation.
  • Camera feels loose: Verify that the camera's magnetic base is fully engaged with the bracket's plate. If using the 1/4 screws for additional security, ensure they are tightened.
  • Difficulty with screw installation: Ensure pilot holes are drilled correctly and wall plugs are appropriate for your wall material. Do not overtighten screws to avoid stripping.
