Thank you for choosing the ANDTE 80 Pints Energy Star Dehumidifier. This manual provides important information regarding the safe operation, installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of your dehumidifier. Please read this manual thoroughly before operating the appliance and retain it for future reference.

This dehumidifier is designed to effectively reduce humidity in basements, homes, and large rooms up to 5500 sq.ft, helping to create a more comfortable and healthy environment. It features an 80-pint per day dehumidification capacity, a 1.32-gallon water tank, continuous drain option, 24-hour timer, and auto-defrost function.

3. Place the dehumidifier upright on a firm, level surface.
4. If the unit was not stored upright, allow it to stand upright for at least 24 hours before plugging it in. This allows the refrigerant to settle.
5. Ensure there is at least 8 inches (20 cm) of space around all sides of the unit for proper airflow. Do not place it against a wall or furniture that would obstruct the air inlets or outlets.

Water Removal Options:

• Manual Drain (Water Tank):
  • When the 1.32-gallon water tank is full, the unit will automatically shut off and an indicator light will illuminate.
  • Carefully remove the water tank from the front of the unit.

  • Replace the tank securely into the unit. The dehumidifier will resume operation.
• Continuous Drain (Drain Hose):
  • For continuous operation without emptying the tank, attach the included drain hose (3.9 ft / 1.2m) to the continuous drain outlet on the back of the unit.
  • Ensure the hose is sloped downwards to allow gravity drainage to a suitable floor drain or large container.
  • Do not allow the end of the hose to be submerged in water, as this can cause backflow.
