3.3. App Download and Subscription
- Download the official TACTACAM Defend app from your smartphone's app store.
- Follow the in-app instructions to register your camera and select a cellular subscription plan. Plans start from $5 per month.
- Ensure your camera is powered on and has cellular signal to complete the activation process.

To power on the camera, ensure batteries are installed and close the battery compartment. The camera will automatically power on. To power off, open the battery compartment and remove the batteries.

The TACTACAM Defend camera features motion detection. When motion is detected, the camera will capture images and/or videos and send notifications to your smartphone via the app, depending on your subscription plan and settings.
4.3. Viewing Captured Media
All captured images and videos are stored on the installed SD card and can be accessed through the TACTACAM Defend app. Depending on your subscription, you can view, download, and manage media remotely.
4.4. On-Demand Features
Certain subscription plans offer on-demand picture and video capabilities, allowing you to request live views or immediate captures through the app.
