• For user's safety, the TOMLOV DM601/DM602 is not equipped with a battery. It must be plugged into a wall socket with the included AC adapter or connected to a power bank/computer/laptop for operation.
• Clean the lens if you notice a deterioration in image quality. Carefully wipe the microscope with a soft and clean cotton cloth (such as an eyeglass cloth) moistened with alcohol.
• The monitor on the main unit is not shockproof. Please use it with care. Do not drop it, press it hard, or touch it with sharp objects. The monitor is not waterproof; please clean it with a dry and soft cloth. Do not press the monitor when adjusting its angle.

1. How to Install the Clip

Fix the clips into the stand base according to your need.

Заўвага: The bottom transmitted light stage cannot be moved smoothly on the base after the clips are installed. We recommend that you do not install the clips if you plan to use the stage with the DM601/DM602 digital microscope.

2. How to Install the Stand

1. крок 1: Rotate the black ring clockwise one or two turns.

3. How to Install the Monitor

1. крок 1: Unscrew the 2 little screws and remove the lens.
2. крок 2: Put the monitor into the stand bracket and tighten the 2 little screws.
3. крок 3: Fasten the 2 screws on the lens holder and slide the big screw to adjust the height of the monitor.

1. Save Photos/Videos With Micro SD Card

You can save photos and videos on a micro SD card to review later. A 64GB micro SD card is preloaded with the microscope.

2. How to Power Up the Microscope

Connect the power cable to the microscope and then to a suitable power socket using the provided AC adapter. The microscope turns on automatically.

Alternatively, the microscope can be connected with a power bank, computer, or laptop to work.

3. How to Make the Side Lights Work

Connect the power cable to the power supply, and the lights will turn on automatically. Adjust brightness using the '+' or '-' buttons on the light control.

Заўвага: Disconnect the power cable from the base slot to turn off the side lights. Do not press the On/Off button on the power cable to turn off the lights; this button is used to turn on/off the microscope itself.

4. How to Change the Objective Lens

1. крок 1: Адкруціць 2 клamping screws and remove the current lens by pulling it straight forward. Store the removed lens in the protection box.
2. крок 2: Attach the new lens and secure it in place with the clamping screws. Ensure the lens label is pointing outwards.
3. крок 3: Adjust the focus range and refocus if necessary.

Заўвага: Two sets of lens screws are included. One set is preinstalled with the lens, the other is spare.

5. How to Use Lens A (for Coins, Stamps, Stones)

Lens A is designed to observe objects from micro to macro by adjusting the stand height screw. It can be used to observe coins, stones, stamps, and similar items.

• At the minimum distance (12mm between lens and object), the microscope achieves the highest magnification.
• For a wider view, the monitor can be lifted above the lens holder, expanding the distance between the lens and object up to 270mm.

6. How to Use Lens L (for Soldering)

Lens L is specially designed for soldering. It has a large working distance of 90mm-240mm with high magnification. Please remove the lens cap before use.

• The image at the highest magnification level can be viewed at the minimum distance of 90mm, which provides a large working distance for soldering.
• For more working distance, raise the monitor from 90mm to 190mm.
• The monitor can be lifted above the lens holder, expanding the distance between the lens and object up to 240mm.

7. How to Use Lens D (for Biological Slides)

Lens D is the objective for the highest magnification levels, with a working distance of 4-5 mm. It is designed to observe slides and requires the slide holder to be used in conjunction with the bottom light.

(1) How to Power On the Bottom Light

1. Disconnect the power cable from the base.
2. Connect the power cable to the transmitted light stage.
3. Press brightness + or brightness - to adjust the brightness of the transmitted light.

(2) How to Observe Slides

1. Lay the slide and fasten it with clips.
2. Slide down the lens close to the slide.
3. The optimal distance between the lens and slide is about 4mm-5mm.
4. Place the specimen at the center of the lens.
5. Rotate the focus knob to the farthest right for maximum zoom.

Заўвага: Slides can only be viewed with Lens D, so please install Lens D before use. The on/off button on the power supply cable is used to switch the microscope on/off, not the bottom light. Do not press the on/off button on the cable to power off the bottom light.

8. Switch Different Modes

There are 3 modes with the microscope: Photo, Video, and Playback. The default setting is video mode. Press the 'M' button on the monitor or the 'Mode' button on the remote control to switch modes.

9. Photo/Video Playback and Files Кіраванне

Press the 'M' button to enter playback mode. Use the 'Up' and 'Down' buttons to view photos. Press the 'OK' button to view відэа.

Press the 'M' button to enter playback mode. Long press the 'M' button to access files management options:

• Абараніць: Lock current / Unlock current / Lock all / Unlock all.
• Слайд-шоў: The recorded pictures/videos can be replayed at intervals of 2/5/8 seconds on the microscope. Press 'Up'/'Down' to choose, 'OK' to confirm, and 'M' to return.

Files locked cannot be deleted in the microscope. (Note: Locked files can still be deleted when deleting files on a computer.)

10. Connect with HDMI TV

The microscope comes with one HDMI cable that allows connection to a regular HDMI device.

1. Connect the microscope with the HDMI cable.
2. Connect the power supply via the power cable.

The microscope switches on automatically when connected with the power supply. The image will be shown on the HDMI monitor.

11. Connect with PC

The microscope is powered by the computer via the USB cable when connected to a PC, so the power cable does not need to be connected to the micro USB slot of the microscope.

(1) Connect the microscope with the USB monitor.

(2) Connect the power supply via the power cable.

12. Праца з Windows

Make sure your PC has Windows Camera installed. If not, get the software from the Windows/Microsoft Store or search online.

1. Connect the microscope to the computer via the USB cable, and the microscope will switch on automatically.
2. Press the 'Down' button to choose 'PC Camera' and press 'OK' to confirm.
3. Run Windows Camera; it will display the image.

Заўвага: The microscope is controlled entirely via the computer in PC mode. The operation buttons on the screen and the remote control do not work. Images or videos are saved on the PC and cannot be saved onto the SD card in PC mode.

13. Work with Mac

Make sure your MacBook has Photo Booth installed. If not, get the software from the APP store.

1. Connect the microscope to the computer via the USB cable, and it will switch on automatically.
2. Press the 'Down' button to choose 'PC Camera' and press 'OK' to confirm.
3. Run Photo Booth (Finder > Applications > Photo Booth); the image will be shown. (Mac shows the image as a mirror image).

Заўвага: Photo Booth shows a mirror image when connected with Mac/iMac. However, the recorded images or videos are normal. Please view запісанае files in Mac/iMac. Alternatively, connect the microscope with a Windows PC for normal image view.

The microscope can be operated by remote control. For better operation:

• The remote control should be aligned with the IR receiver on the microscope.
• The best distance between the remote control and microscope is 25cm-40cm.
• Please wait a moment so that the microscope can follow and run the instruction after pressing the button on the remote control. Do not press the buttons too quickly.

In any mode, press the 'Menu' button on the microscope for 2 seconds (or press the 'Menu' button on the remote) until the Video/Photo/Playback menu appears. Press the 'M' button again to enter the System Setup menu.

  Заўвага: Default photo resolution is 2MHD with 16:9 aspect ratio, matching the microscope screen. Other resolutions have a 4:3 aspect ratio, resulting in black screen edges.

4. Save Settings

After finishing settings, press the power button to save all settings. If the microscope is switched off by pressing the ON/OFF button on the power cable or disconnecting the power cable, settings will not be saved.

1. Why can't I turn on the microscope properly?

The DM601/DM602 microscope does not have a built-in battery. It needs to be plugged into a wall charger to get power. Connect the power cable first, and the microscope will turn on automatically.

3. Why can't I get clear pictures?

There are several ways to achieve a clear image:

• Lens Selection: Use the appropriate lens for your observation: Lens A for coin/stamp/stone, Lens L for soldering, Lens D for slide observation.

4. Why does the microscope restart repeatedly?

• The remote control should be aligned with the IR receiver on the microscope.
• The best distance between the remote control and the microscope is 25cm-35cm.
• Wait a moment for the microscope to respond after pressing a button. Avoid pressing buttons too quickly.

6. Why do "card error" or "full memory card" messages appear after inserting a Micro SD card?

• Use a high-speed, high-quality memory card and format it with the microscope before use.
• Enter video/photo mode, then press the 'Menu' button to enter 'Setting', and choose 'Format' to confirm.
• If the issue persists, connect the microscope to a computer, format the Micro SD card on the computer, and then format it again with the microscope.

• When connecting to a PC, ensure your computer's camera privacy settings allow applications to access the camera.

• If experiencing lag or stuttering during video recording, try reducing the video resolution in the menu settings.
• Regularly clean the lenses with a soft, lint-free cloth and a small amount of alcohol to maintain image clarity.
