4.1 NVR Overview

Familiarize yourself with the NVR's front and back panels.

Front of the NVR:

• PWR: Indicator lights up when NVR is powered.

4.2 Wiring and Connection Diagram

Follow these steps to connect your NVR system:

1. Power on the NVR using the provided DC 48~52V power adapter.
2. Connect your NVR to your router using an Ethernet (LAN) cable via the UP LINK port.
3. Connect the NVR to a monitor or TV using either a VGA or HDMI cable.
4. Connect the PoE Cameras to the NVR using PoE Ethernet cables.
5. Switch on the NVR and turn on the monitor.
6. If your monitor lacks a speaker, connect external speakers to the 3.5mm "AUDIO OUT" port to hear recorded audio.

After completing these connections, live images should appear on your monitor. You can then proceed with camera installation.

A hard disk drive (HDD) must be installed for recording and playback. If no HDD is installed, the NVR will only provide live monitoring without recording capabilities.

1. Remove the NVR case.
2. Plug in the SATA cable to connect the HDD to the NVR.
3. Secure the HDD to the bottom of the NVR using screws.
4. Install the NVR case back.

Proper camera placement is crucial for optimal performance. Avoid these common issues:

Right-click the mouse to access the main menu, then navigate to System for general settings.

2. Register a new user account within the app.
3. Add your device by inputting the NVR's serial number, username (admin), and password (blank by default).

Navigate to Main Menu → IPC param. → Image Set → IR Swap and try different settings. If the issue persists, reset the camera configuration via Main Menu → IPC param. → System Maintain → Restore default Settings.
• No Image/Video Loss: Check camera power and network connections. Ensure the camera is properly added to the NVR.
