4.2. Connecting to a Computer/Device
- Connect the provided 2-in-1 USB C-to-C/A Data Cable to the Type-C port on the docking station.
- Connect the other end of the cable to an available USB-C or USB-A port on your computer, laptop, smart TV, PS4/PS5, or smart router.

- Once connected, your operating system should automatically detect the installed hard drive(s).
- You can access the drive(s) like any other external storage device.
- The docking station supports Plug & Play. However, for safe removal, always eject the drive(s) from your operating system before powering off the docking station or physically removing the drives.

The docking station features 14 RGB lighting modes, including single-color, flashing, and breathing effects, to enhance your gaming or workspace ambiance. The central button on the front of the device controls the RGB lighting. Press it to cycle through different modes.
5.3. Offline Clone Function (Model 8828C3-C only)
The offline clone function allows you to duplicate data from one hard drive to another without needing a computer connection.
- Insert the disks: Ensure the docking station is disconnected from the computer and powered off. Insert the source disk (Disk A) into the 'Source' slot and the target disk (Disk B) into the 'Target' slot.

- Start cloning: Press the 'Start' button at the back of the docking station. The indicator light will flash during the cloning process. Once cloning is complete, the indicator light will remain constantly on.

- The target drive (Disk B) must have a capacity equal to or larger than the source drive (Disk A).
- Do not move or remove disks during the cloning process.
- Ensure the docking station is not connected to a computer during offline cloning.
- After cloning, the target disk may need to be activated in your computer's Disk Management (PC Management > Disk Management > Online).
- The approximate offline clone speed is 500GB per 2 hours.

- Q: The transfer speed is not reaching 10Gbps.
- A: The 10Gbps is the theoretical maximum transmission speed for USB 3.2 Gen2. Actual speeds can vary depending on several factors, including the hard drive's speed, your computer's USB port capabilities, the operating system, and other system overhead. Ensure you are using a USB 3.2 Gen2 compatible port and a high-speed hard drive for optimal performance.
