Follow these steps for proper installation of your tachometer:

1. Падрыхтуйце мантажную адтуліну: Before installation, create a circular hole with a diameter of Φ85mm (3 3/8 inches) in your dashboard or panel. Ensure there is at least 55mm of clear space behind the panel for the tachometer body.
2. Insert the Gauge: Carefully insert the tachometer into the prepared hole.
3. Secure the Gauge: Use the provided mounting nut and gasket to secure the gauge firmly in place from the backside of the panel.

Sensor Types and Wiring

The tachometer can be used with different types of speed sensors. Ensure you use the correct sensor and wiring method for your engine type.

Two-Wire System (e.g., Magnetoelectric Sensor for Diesel Engine)

• Ўстаноўка: The sensor is mounted on the engine's flywheel casing, positioned vertically to the top surface of the flywheel gear. The distance (L) between the induction end of the sensor and the flywheel top surface should be ≤1mm. A smaller distance results in a stronger output signal.

The tachometer features a single black button on the backside for configuration.

Speed Ratio Adjustment

The speed ratio (pulse per revolution) needs to be set according to your engine's specifications for accurate RPM readings. The adjustable range is 1-360.

1. Увайдзіце ў рэжым налад: Long press the black button on the backside of the tachometer for 3 seconds. The display will show the current speed ratio.
2. Adjust Speed Ratio:
   • While in setting mode, long press the black button again to increase the speed ratio value.
   • Release the button, then long press it again to decrease the speed ratio value.
3. Захаваць наладу: Once the desired speed ratio is displayed, release the button. The tachometer will automatically save the new setting after 3 seconds. If the setting is not satisfactory, repeat the process.

The tachometer offers 7 backlight colors. To change the backlight color:

  • Check the Blue (RPM Signal) wire connection to the sensor and ensure the sensor is properly installed and functioning.
  • For two-wire sensors, ensure the distance between the sensor and flywheel gear is ≤1mm. For three-wire sensors, ensure the distance is ≤2mm.
  • Inspect the sensor and wiring for any damage or corrosion.
• Backlight Not Working/Changing:
  • Check the Yellow (Backlight +) wire connection.
