Filters typically last 6 to 12 months depending on air quality. After operating for 4320 hours, the 'replace filter' light will turn on to remind you. Both HEPA and Activated Carbon filters must be replaced at the same time.
The pre-filter can be washed with water once removed from the unit. Ensure it is completely dry before placing it back into the appliance, and avoid using sharp objects to clean it.
