Open the safe with the backup key or current code, press the program button, place your finger on the scanner three times, and wait for the keypad to illuminate green with a long beep confirming successful registration.
You can use the backup keys provided, or temporarily power the safe using a USB-C cable through the external emergency backup port to unlock it and replace the batteries.
Locate the key code laser-printed on the lock and contact VenoTech customer service at customerservice@venotechus.com with your proof of purchase to request a replacement key.
After multiple incorrect entries (finger vein or keypad), the safe enters a 2-minute lockout alarm mode. It can be stopped by entering the correct passcode, using a correct finger vein ID, or taking out the battery using the manual backup key.
