Kaito support FAQ
Распаўсюджаныя пытанні аб інструкцыях, рэгістрацыі і падтрымцы гэтага брэнда.
-
How do I charge my Kaito emergency radio?
Most Kaito emergency radios, such as the Voyager series, can be powered in up to five ways: a built-in solar panel, a hand-crank dynamo, a USB charging port, AA batteries, or an AC adapter (often sold separately).
-
How does the NOAA Weather Alert feature work?
To use the NOAA Alert, set the band selector to Weather and tune to your local station. Then switch the power mode to 'NOAA Alert'. The radio will remain in standby and automatically activate when an alert signal is broadcast by the National Weather Service.
-
Why is my Kaito radio not holding a charge?
First, check the battery compartment; many Kaito models require you to manually plug in the internal rechargeable battery pack connector before first use. If the battery is old, it may need replacement.
-
What bands do Kaito radios typically receive?
Most models receive AM, FM, and 7 pre-programmed NOAA weather channels. Many units, like the KA500 and KA600, also cover Shortwave (SW) bands for international broadcasts.
